  10. A sampling of tunes created with PIANOMAN.  Some are MUZ files
  11. that you can load into PIANOMAN and play or modify.  Others are
  12. COM files -- these are standalone programs created by PLAYER
  13. PIANO.  When you register PIANOMAN by sending the $25 registration
  14. fee, you get a copy of the latest version AND another disk of tunes.

  16. FILES in the "SPKR" directory
  17. =============================
  18. These files are copyrighted by Cove Software, and are included here
  19. with permission.  SPKR.DOC explains the workings of SPKR.SYS, and
  20. TRAPEZE.SPK is a sample input file for the SPKR device.  When you
  21. install SPKR.SYS in your computer, you can play "background" music
  22. by writing special commands to the "SPK" device, just as you can
  23. write to "PRN" or "LPT1".  An option in PLAYER PIANO converts _short_
  24. PIANOMAN tunes (128 notes or less) into input files for the SPK device.

  26. FILES in the "TP4" directory
  27. ============================
  28. These files are for programmers who want to incorporate MUZ files into
  29. their programs.  They're written in Turbo Pascal version 4.0.  If you
  30. program in another language, I hope the Pascal code is clear enough
  31. that you can easily translate it.  The file structure is the most
  32. important thing, and I think that will be clear from the code.
