-
- FILES in the "TUNES" directory
- ==============================
- A sampling of tunes created with PIANOMAN. Some are MUZ files
- that you can load into PIANOMAN and play or modify. Others are
- COM files -- these are standalone programs created by PLAYER
- PIANO. When you register PIANOMAN by sending the $25 registration
- fee, you get a copy of the latest version AND another disk of tunes.
-
- FILES in the "SPKR" directory
- =============================
- These files are copyrighted by Cove Software, and are included here
- with permission. SPKR.DOC explains the workings of SPKR.SYS, and
- TRAPEZE.SPK is a sample input file for the SPKR device. When you
- install SPKR.SYS in your computer, you can play "background" music
- by writing special commands to the "SPK" device, just as you can
- write to "PRN" or "LPT1". An option in PLAYER PIANO converts _short_
- PIANOMAN tunes (128 notes or less) into input files for the SPK device.
-
- FILES in the "TP4" directory
- ============================
- These files are for programmers who want to incorporate MUZ files into
- their programs. They're written in Turbo Pascal version 4.0. If you
- program in another language, I hope the Pascal code is clear enough
- that you can easily translate it. The file structure is the most
- important thing, and I think that will be clear from the code.
